Thermal Management

Is a fascinating discipline of mastering the selection, design and conditioning of materials for individual applications. In final function assemblies, contacts and encapsulations need to meet application specific operation temperature limits, heat flux requirements and life time consistencies. And any deficiency of the foregoing items designed into a product or system, requires an exponential extra effort at the next level of the value adding chain.

A little bit like Cinderella waste heat for a long time had not been discovered as an energy resource. Only more recently so called combined Heat and Power [CHP] have made their ways into improving overall system efficiencies. Therefore the components useful for such targets still offer further room for improvements.
